Haifa war eine Stadt, die uns eher enttäuscht hat und nicht auf der Agenda der nächsten Israel-Reise stehen wird. Gott sei Dank waren wir im Colony-Hotel, weil wir nur in dieser Gegend etwas Flair und etwas besonderes gefunden haben, im Straßenbild, den Restaurants drumherum und den alten Häusern. Das Hotel bietet wie meistens in Israel nicht viel, ist aber doch passabel. Sehr schön die Sylvester-Parade vor der Tür, allerdings schon am 30.12., weil sie sonst auf den Dabbath gefallen wäre. Da bekam man viel vom Multikulti-Leben in der Stadt mit.
