Rustikale Unterkunft in Vulkannähe

Das war das letzte Hotel vor dem Abflug auf unserer einwöchigen Costa Rica Rundreise.
Wir waren im Poas Volcano Lodge nur eine Nacht mit der Absicht am Folgetag noch zum Poas Vulkan zu fahren. Wir kamen unter kräftigen Schauer erst in der Nacht an, uns war klar das der geplante "letzte Ausflug" ins Wasser fällt.
Die zugewiesenen Zimmer waren riesig, aber eiskalt, denn wir waren ca. 1500 Meter hoch in den Bergen. In der Lounge gibt es große Aufenthaltsräume, aber als Wärmequelle nur zwei kleine "Öfchen" und Decken zum einwickeln. Kuscheliges Kaminfeuer oder Romantik kommt da nicht auf. Wir haben nur das Frühstück in Anspruch nehmen können, wegen der späten Anreise. Es gab etwas Obst und Rühreier, aber nichts besonderes.

Weiterempfehlung nur wegen des Besuch des großen Vulkan Kraters, liegt sehr weit abgelegen.
